Absolon

This is one of the simpler designs I've done for an book cover. It's a post apocalyptic story with a bit of political intrege in it. Only a few chapters are up, but if you're interested you can check it out here.

I did use a simple (free) template to get the chainlink, and did the wood texture with gimp.
